Lamb

Dorpers

Nutrient-dense
Lamb is a prime source of high-quality protein, vitamins, and minerals. As with other red meats, its protein is nutritionally complete, with all eight essential amino acids in the proper ratios. A 3-ounce serving of lamb provides 43 percent of an adult male's recommended daily allowance (RDA) of protein. Lamb is high in B vitamins, zinc, and iron. Red meats, especially lamb and beef, are amongst the best sources of absorbable iron. For those watching their carbohydrate intake, lamb has zero carbs.

Lean and mean
Compared to other meats, lamb contains very little marbling (fat in the meat). Since lamb fat is on the edges of the meat, it is easily trimmed off, which means fewer calories, only 175 in an average 3-ounce serving or 7 percent of the average daily caloric intake recommended for a 23 to 50-year old male. Only about 36 percent of the fat in lamb is saturated fat. The rest is mono or polyunsaturated fat, the "good" fat in one's diet. Courtesy of Sheep101.info

Fresh Cut Flowers

Zinnias, Sunflowers and more!

They Are Truly Local
Almost 80% of fresh flowers sold in the United States are not grown in North America, but in Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, the Netherlands, and Israel. Shipping flowers from those countries to the United States incurs huge transportation, energy, refrigeration, and storage costs, leaving an enormous carbon footprint. These floral materials may carry residue of chemical pesticides or fungicides.

They Are Truly Fresh
Imported flowers are often cut a week or more before they arrive in a consumer’s hands. During this time, quality and vase life decline. Locally-grown flowers can be cut in the morning and on your dining room table that evening.

They Are Responsibly Grown
We strive to produce flowers using responsible farming methods like integrated pest management, diverse cropping systems, and low-input fertilization programs. Our farm encourages important biodiversity, soil health, and water conservation.

They Smell Better
Many commodity-type flowers have been bred for uniformity to fit into a box, and the stem strength to hold up in that box for long-distance travel, usually losing their natural fragrance in the process. Locally-grown flowers are produced in greater varieties, providing a wide range of colors, forms, and scents.

They Make You Feel Better!
Flowers reduce stress and improve your mood. Flowers can be connected to a time, a place, a person, a season, an event. They have a story and you are part of it.

Goat

 Boer Kiko Cross

Goat meat is lower in fat than chicken, but higher in protein than beef. Goat meat outshines traditional meat sources in most areas: it's lower in calories, total fat, saturated fat and cholesterol. The low levels of saturated fat and cholesterol, combined with its high iron and protein content, make goat meat a good choice for anyone looking for a healthy red meat. It's a leaner, healthier choice when compared to equal serving sizes of chicken, beef and pork.

Pasture Raised Beef

Wagyu Angus Cross

We wanted to provide exceptional beef at an affordable cost.  The meat from Wagyu cattle is known worldwide for its marbling characteristics and naturally enhanced, flavor, tenderness, and juiciness. Angus beef is known for its  tenderness, and excellent taste. So combining the two takes beef to a whole new level.
